I knew what my options were and he encouraged and supported me with all my decisions and doubts. He made me feel confident and comfortable to have the surgery. I had chronic sciatica and suffered badly for more than 6 months. Consultant Dudhniwala suggested that we try treating my symptoms with an epidural injection. Unfortunately, this had very little effect. I was advised that lumbar decompression surgery would be the next step. I am very happy to say that six weeks after surgery and physiotherapy, my terrible pain has disappeared, and I am very grateful to all the medical staff at Highgate Hospital. A special and sincere thank you to Consultant Dudhniwala, who carried out my surgery and was excellent from my initial diagnosis to the surgery.

Mr. Dudhniwala was very informative. He was able to put my fears to rest regarding the procedure. Beforehand he also explained all possible outcomes to make sure I was comfortable with it all, and told me the next steps forward depending on each outcome. I went into surgery confident I was in great hands. I missed my followup appointment due to confusion on my sise regarding what time it was, but Mr Dudhniwala went out of his way to ensure I still had my followup appointment and we went through all the points I had questions on. The procedure was a success and I I confident that I have all the relevant information to allow me to look after myself and continue to feel the benefits of the procedure. I hope to never need this again, but if I do I will be seeking out Mr Abdul Gaffar Dudhniwala.

We had every trust and had no hesitation in Mr Dudhniwala's ability to carry out a coccygectomy. I would say he is a very good communicator and can make you feel totally relaxed with his confidence and no hesitation approach. He explained the whole procedure and what to expect after coccygectomy surgery. I was also aware that it was rarely recommended and performed so I had a lot to think about. I was aware that postoperative recovery from the surgery can be a long and uncomfortable process I had every trust in his ability and had no hesitation in going ahead with the op. He communicated every stage and options of my treatment planned together with clear, concise explanation on how procedures would progress in the short and long term post operative. Post operative follow up appointment He listened to my concerns and ruled out any other issue or concerns. It was the right decision for me and I am happy I had this operation after a long term of suffering.
